REPA Promotes Safety in all its Forms with an Event Against Violence on Women

  • REPA hosted the presentation of the book "Non chiamatelo Raptus” (“Don’t Call It a Fit of Madness”) to reflect on violence against women.
  • The event was an opportunity to reflect on a topic that expresses REPA’s commitment to safety in all its forms, physical and psychological.

On the occasion of the the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, REPA hosted, at its Cesena headquarters and in collaboration with trade unions, the presentation of the graphic novel “Non chiamatelo Raptus” (“Don’t Call It a Fit of Madness”) with the participation of the author Stefania Spanò, known as Anarkikka.

The activities promoting and raising awareness on this issue in our area are carried out as part of the “Her Chance” project, promoted by Apeiron ODV in cooperation with IPAZIA liberedonne association and the association and the Municipality of Cesena, with the support from the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The event, which saw the participation of REPA employees, was an opportunity to reflect on a topic that exemplifies REPA’s commitment to safety—one of the five key values promoted by the company, leading distributor of spare parts for foodservice, coffee, and vending, alongside passion, community, integrity, and courage.

“Safety in the workplace and within our community is a value we believe is worth protecting,” says Leonardo Raggi, Managing Director of REPA Italy, who adds: “By presenting this book at REPA, we aim to raise awareness among all employees about an issue that, unfortunately, remains very present in our society—violence against women in all its forms—and to continue promoting safety in a comprehensive way, both physical and psychological, to make everyone feel free to express their thoughts and potential, within the community and in the workplace.”
